I
believe that more than half of Earth's resident knows about this game console,
and more than half of it have ever played it at least once in their life.
I myself have been playing this
console since the year 1996, and still crazy about it until now. (Although that
mainly based on the condition that I couldn't afford to buy a new console such
as Dreamcast or Playstation 2).
So from thousands of the
well-known Playstation title, I have narrowed it down to the best ten that I've
played so far. Because I am a Strategy and RPG nuts, so the list will be mostly
consist of those kind. Although I'm not into sport and racing games, there are a
few of them which is also my favourite. Here
they are (Click on the title to read the review by GameFAQs):

Final Fantasy VIII |
The best episodes
of the most biggest selling title in the history of
Playstation. I like it better than FF VII and FF IX (I have finished them all)
because it's a fantasy game but also have a humanity touch in it. And most of
all, it has the best and the most complex story than the other FF series has. |

Resident Evil:
Director's Cut |
I liked this
original version better than the next episode of |
|
|
Resident Evil (RE2,
RE3 or RE: Code Veronica). I enjoy playing all the series of RE, though, because
it has a continuous storyline combines with a very dark plot and conspiracy.
This game also becomes a pioneer for a lot of horror based game that followed
afterwards. |

Xenogears |
This game is a must
for all RPG maniacs. It has all that a game must have. Complex
storyline, good pictures and movies, awesome fighting techniques, robot
enhancement, nice future predictions, a lot of mini-games and a great long
ending. What more can you ask from a game? |

Parasite Eve |
The first and
probably the best cinematic RPG ever produced. I really enjoy
playing this game. Unfortunately the next installments of the game (PE 2) is
just a rip-off of Resident Evil. Why can't they make it the same as its
predecessor? -sigh- |

Suikoden |
This is the first
RPG game I've ever played, and the main reason why I became
an RPG addicts afterwards. Even though the graphics is still 2D, the storyline
is amazing and you get to play not 1, 2 or 3 characters, you're able to play 108
characters in this game! |

Tekken 3 |
King of the
fighting games in its era. I have probably played this game thousands of
times with my friends and still enjoying this game until now. A lot of
characters that you can pick from the list, each has its own unique combos and
fighting styles. |

Silent Hill |
This is the
scariest game that I have ever played. The entire game is set at
nighttime, and even at daytime you can barely see anything because the whole
area is filled with mysterious fog. All you can see is up to five meters ahead,
which is mainly consist of blood-stained wall, and all of sudden you find
yourself being bitten by a crawling ghost who came out of nowhere. Not suggested
for people with weak heart. |

Gran Turismo |
The best racing
game that ever produced in Playstation. I don't play racing game
that much, but this is truly one game I keep on playing again and again.
Hundreds of cars are selectable (if you can afford the price), which is mainly
adopted from real cars in the real world. This one is also a must. |

Wild Arms |
One of the original
RPG (released: 1997) that make me even more addicted to
RPG games. The storyline is fantastic, and the game play is very entertaining.
Try it out yourself and you'll find out why. |

Tony Hawk's Pro
Skater |
As I said before,
I'm not really into sports games, but I'll make an exception for
this one. The game is very entertaining, and it even make me want to learn how
to skate (Well, at least by the time I was playing the game). |
